Annapolis Information and Highlights

Annapolis is the beautiful capital city of the state of Maryland. Situated on Chesapeake Bay, Annapolis spans a wide area and contains beautiful architecture, homes and plenty of opportunities for residents, would-be residents and visitors alike. It has also played a major part in America’s history, serving as the seat of the Continental Congress in 1783 to 1784, and was also the site of the 1786 Annapolis Convention as well as the Annapolis Peace Conference. It is also home to St. John’s College and the United States Naval Academy. Annapolis has a long, colorful history dating back to the 1600s. Throughout its long history, Annapolis has developed into the beautiful, and important city that many know and love today.
